Type-Based Project Statement
For my type-based portrait project, I am going
to be using Lisa “Left-Eye”
Lopez as my portrait. She was one of the
members of TLC, a hip-hop R&B group of the 90’s,
& early 2000’s.
I plan on using text with a color other than black and white.

Artist Inspiration
http://www.petermillergallery.com/
This artist portrays fear and anxiety in his work, and that's exactly the mood I want to set with my piece. Even thought I want the lady to appear very feminine, the subject for my editorial is heavy and the illustration should set the mood.

I liked this artist for the way he portrays a female. Beautiful & exotic.

I really like the way this artist doesn't add a lot of detail to the skin. Instead it looks porcelain, smooth, and bright. He used paint or a paint program.
